Quantometer Calibration
Quantometers, typically available in smaller sizes and capacities, mechanically measure the volume of passing gas using a rotating rotor. Calibration of quantometers involves comparing the volume measured by the device with the volume measured by a master meter under controlled laboratory conditions.
In this process, the quantometer is installed in an atmospheric air facility, and the gas volume passing through it is measured using a high-precision master meter. Quantometer calibration services include mechanical inspection of the flow meter, cleaning and adjustment of the rotor, and finally, issuance of a calibration certificate, which specifies the device’s error factor across different flow rates.
